Biography
Mr. Trujillo practices a wide variety of Criminal Defense and Immigration Law at Wang IP Law Group, P.C. His Criminal Defense practice includes marijuana charges, drug crimes, DUI defense, and juvenile crimes. Mr. Trujillo also helps clients with both business-related and personal Immigration issues.
As for Mr. Trujillo’s Immigration practice, he is an AILA DREAM Defender, assisting individuals who may qualify for relief under the proposed DREAM Act. AILA DREAM Defenders provide expert immigration pro bono legal assistance and advocacy support to young adults who would qualify for relief under the DREAM Act, if enacted, and who are unable to afford an attorney.
Mr. Trujillo represents clients before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services(USCIS), Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and before Immigration Judges.
Mr. Trujillo received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. During Law School, Mr. Trujillo participated in a Litigation Skills clinic and was President of the Hispanic Law Students Association. Mr. Trujillo was a certified legal intern with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, conducting trials and other hearings under the supervision of an Assistant State Attorney. Before attending Law School, Mr. Trujillo attended the University of California, Irvine where he obtained B.A. degrees in English and Political Science. While attending college, Mr. Trujillo participated in various community outreach programs through the University and served as chapter president of the Phi Delta Theta International Fraternity.
Prior to joining Wang IP Law Group, P.C., Mr. Trujillo was a co-founding partner at Gupta Trujillo law firm, a Criminal Defense and Immigration law firm. Throughout his years of practice, Mr. Trujillo has also worked for law firms specializing in labor and employment law and employment-based visas in California and Florida.
