Abed Dawudi is a patent agent practicing in several areas of intellectual property. Mr. Dawudi has ten years of experience working with law firms throughout the United States and specializes in patent services involving mechanical, composition, business method, and software patents.

With an extensive background in science and technology, Mr. Dawudi previously spent five years as a technical writer at KBC Advanced Technologies, a consulting and software firm servicing energy and other process industries. At KBC, Mr. Dawudi developed oil refinery simulation software in addition to authoring user manual publications and help guides for software technology.

Prior to his time at KBC, Mr. Dawudi spent four years as a Field Engineer for Baker Hughes, one of the world’s largest oilfield services companies. While at Baker Hughes, Mr. Dawudi conducted geological analysis of soil formations in addition to preparing hydrocarbon probability reports for geologists. Mr. Dawudi also controlled and monitored acoustic, radioactive and sonar tools in oil wells.

Mr. Dawudi earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry at the University of Texas, Arlington. While in school, Mr. Dawudi conducted additional research on the conductivity of polymers.

Mr. Dawudi also served as a First Mate Technician for the United States Navy, servicing boilers on U.S. Military ships after earning a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Boilermaking from the U.S. Navy "A" School.

In addition to English, Mr. Dawudi is fluent in both Arabic and French.
